Sam + Eddie: Warm Desert Toned Wedding in Indian Wells

Citrus, Kumquats, Orange Velvet, Lavender Beaded Gowns, and Table settings inspired by the Far East

Sam and Eddie, possibly the sweetest and most lively Canadians I’ve ever met, hosted the most gorgeous destination wedding for their family and friends at Miramonte Resort in Indian Wells near Palm Springs, California! Seriously, IT WAS STUNNING! Samantha could not have taken more care to make sure everything was as gorgeous as the warm desert backdrop that Miramonte provided for them! From luxe, burnt orange velvet sofas, to vintage postcard inspired invitation suites, kumquats, the most grand cathedral length veil paired with the most stunning beaded gown I have ever beheld, table settings and lantern lights that might just be what wedding dreams are made of, and baby succulent inspired cupcakes. It felt as if they were getting married at a riad in Morocco with all their warm colors and gorgeously styled table settings.

Aside from both of their obvious style, I could not get over all the touching moments exchanged throughout the day. Sam and her father shared a father-daughter first look that was as sweet as could be while Eddie shared a toast between his and his guys prior to ceremony. Opting for no first look, the ceremony was full of tears and smiles as the bride and groom saw one another for the first time. Exchanging their own hand-written vows, recounting the story of how they came together and fell in love was just as sweet as the reception toasts given by their parents! Full of sentiments and sweet memories, Sam and Eddie’s desert wedding was as memorable as ever. Cheers to the newlyweds!
