Malibu Seaview Estate Wedding with Boho Accents and a Mini Dress by Odylyne the Ceremony

Cream Colored Linen Suits, Dried Floral Arrangements, A Mini Dress by Odylyne the Ceremony, A Sorbet Colored Sunset, and Panoramic Views of the Malibu Coastline from a Tuscan Seaview Estate

Jessica and Kristian celebrated their wedding day in August at a private estate in Malibu with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and California coastline. They found their perfect tuscan style estate venue on Peerspace and rented the home for the day in order to create their perfect wedding vision. Jessica had a clear picture for how she wanted the day to look and feel, pairing bohemian accents with modern design for a fun and funky flair that was all their own! The groom and groomsmen wore cream colored linen suits with white cotton shirts, perfect for a summer time wedding with an ocean view! The bridesmaids all wore varying shades of pastel gowns in a luxe satin fabric. Together, with their dried floral bouquets, it felt like a boho wedding dream come true.

To decorate and adorn the space, their florist, Hadley and Ren - known specifically for their stunning dried floral arrangements, blended both dried florals with live blooms of orchids for their center pieces, wedding arch, bouquets, and boutonnières. I love all florals, but orchids are hands down one of my favorites to see in arrangements on wedding days, and Hadley and Ren perfected complimenting the soft orchids with the dried palm frowns throughout Jessica and Kristian’s decor.

Another incredible decorative element for their wedding day was their custom signage. Tash Design Co., a lovely friend of the bride, hand designed beautiful personalized cocktail menus, seating charts, welcome signage, and other paper goods for their entire wedding day. My favorite feature that Tash Design Co included in their custom signage was illustrated photos of their frenchie dogs to pair with their custom cocktails offered at their bar - it was such a cute way to include their pups in their wedding day since they couldn’t be there for the day of celebrations!

For their wedding day, guests arrived through a tunnel of draped trees to the private estate nestled in the Malibu mountains and were greeted by a cute welcome sign accompanied with a champagne bar cart! A champagne bar cart was a perfectly fun way to arrive at their wedding venue! Guests made their way around the lawn to the most stunning panoramic view of the Malibu coastline and Pacific Ocean that was in the back yard of this gorgeous Peerspace Wedding venue.

Jessica and Kristian’s wonderful planner, Pastiche Event Productions LA, orchestrated a spacious and intimate half circle ceremony site leading straight out towards the ocean. The ceremony site had ghost chairs for a modern style element that didn’t distract from the gorgeous view. One of the most unique elements of their wedding ceremony was that one of Kristian’s groomsmen was the “flower guy” of the wedding! He strapped a fanny pack to his waist filled with white rose petals and tossed them at guests and on the ground before Jessica walked down the aisle. Everyone was dying laughing over this flower man’s performance.

After a beautiful ceremony in such a stunning location, Jessica also surprised all her guests post-ceremony with a second gown! Her second gown was the ever so popular and amazing Mini Caspian gown by Odylyne the Ceremony! It made my fashionista heart die and go to heaven. It’s long puff sleeves and ruffled short skirt was AMAZING. Paired with her grandmothers pearls, a cathedral length veil, and some translucent pumps, she was a vision ready to celebrate her marriage to her fiancé at the reception!

Jessica and Kristian were able to sneak away for a little while during the most stunning sunset I have ever beheld on a wedding day. The rich shades of pinks and purples blended across the sky out of an otherwise hazy day on the coast. It was so spectacularly vibrant it was nearly unbelievable if you weren’t there to see it yourself.

Their ceremony space was flipped into a dinner reception while guests enjoyed a wonderful cocktail hour on a basketball court! As guests made their way to the reception, it wasn’t long before meals were consumed and dancing began! Jessica and Kristian’s guests danced on the patio of the venue until their party busses picked them up for the second portion of their celebrations. It was a wild and special night to remember ending with many shots sipped at their bar illuminated with a custom neon sign!

Congrats Jessica and Kristian! Your wedding in the Malibu Mountains was nothing short of phenomenal!
