After their dreamy wedding celebrations in Italy and a year spent traveling the U.S. in search of their next hometown, Sam Ruiz and her husband Dan found what they were looking for in the charming, rural town of Midway, Utah. Tucked away in a valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains, rolling pastures, and slow-living charm, Midway feels like something out of a storybook—complete with spring florals, fluffy cows, baby lambs, and locally-loved corner bakeries.

Now just weeks away from welcoming their baby girl, Sam and Dan have embraced this quiet season of life. At 36 weeks pregnant, Sam chose to document her maternity journey in their new home, capturing the beauty of both motherhood and the rugged, natural surroundings of Utah in spring.
