The Santa Barbara Courthouse is a historic landmark and popular wedding venue located in downtown Santa Barbara, California. The courthouse boasts a stunning Spanish Colonial Revival style with beautiful architecture, colorful tile work, and stunning views from the bell tower. While it is a popular venue choice for getting married, on this day, Lena and Walker chose The Santa Barbara Courthouse as their backdrop to celebrate their engagement.
Lena and Walker’s engagement photos were a celebration of their engagement season in the town they call home. Just a few blocks from their very own doorstep, Lena and Walker explored the grounds of the courthouse in the city that they both love.
Taking a more formal approach, Lena wore a beautiful white mini dress with a statement bow and Walker wore a casual black suit with a button up. They looked positively elegant amongst the trees and facade of the courthouse!
Just a few blocks away sits the Santa Barbara Arlington Theater. The Arlington Theatre is a historic movie palace and performing arts venue located in downtown Santa Barbara, California. The theatre originally opened in 1931 and even though it has undergone several renovations and restorations, has maintained its grandeur and preserved its historical significance. This theater is special because in addition to it’s marquee lightbulbs that illuminate at sunset, you can have your own custom message placed across the marquee! In the spirit of their engagement session, Lena and Walker had their names and engagement date placed upon the marquee as they took photos in front of the theater!
